10 Minute Play Contest and Readings

Continuing the tradition of celebrating women+ plays and playwrights, this year's conference will feature readings of three plays selected through a 10-minute play contest.

The selected plays from the contest are:

  • The Cassette Tape by Shalom Omo-Osagie
  • The Pantheon of Anthem Protesters by Ellen Sullivan
  • Once I Was a Kingdom by Gemma Cooper-Novack

Congratulations to the selected playwrights!

There will be a facilitated discussion with all the playwrights after all the readings are concluded.

Are you an Actor?

We are seeking volunteer readers for the prerecorded play readings. Those interested in volunteering should email: ganastasiadis@howardcc.edu. Information will be shared with the playwrights, who are responsible for casting and rehearsal of their plays.
