Women+ in Theatre Conference

Women+ in Theatre Conference

The fifth annual Women+ in Theatre Conference will be held on August 22, 2020. This year's conference will be offered virtually and made available to participants for FREE. We are excited to welcome Lady Dane Figueroa Edidi as our keynote speaker, discussing Theatre as an Agent for Change and Cultivating an Equitable Future. Additional sessions for the day include Meeting the Times, featuring panelists and small group discussion; a Designer Panel; Speed Networking; and Play Readings of selected plays from our 10-minute Play Contest. Registrants will also have the opportunity to participate in our Online Expo by sharing their contact information and links to online portfolios on our Exhibitors page. Hosted by Rep Stage, the mission of the Women+ in Theatre Conference is to provide an opportunity for women+ theatre practitioners to network with one another and develop strategies that further the cause of gender equity within the industry and beyond.
