Women in Theatre Conference

The fourth annual conference dedicated to women working in the theatre will be held on August 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Horowitz Center at Howard Community College. The day-long conference will feature a keynote speaker, portfolio expo, and a 10-minute play reading competition along with opportunities for facilitated networking and reflection. This year’s theme, The Power of Engagement, will be explored throughout the day.

Hosted by Rep Stage, the mission of the Women in Theatre conference is to provide an opportunity for women theatre practitioners to network with one another and develop strategies that further the cause of gender equality within the industry and beyond.
A $25 Registration Fee includes a light breakfast, lunch, and a reception.
